Manifesting has become something of a buzzword in recent years. Trying to figure out exactly what manifesting means can be daunting given that there are so many voices being put to it and so many meanings placed under it. So… what is the deal with Manifesting?
Manifesting, ultimately, is a guiding premise towards living into the full potential of exactly who you are, who you are meant to be, and what you desire for your life. This means guiding your thoughts and channeling your energies into your true desires.
Many see manifesting as this intangible concept that will automatically open up all opportunities for whatever you want or think you want out of thin air. This is NOT accurate. Manifesting takes work! It takes energy, persistence, patience, and care. And, most importantly, it requires belief in yourself and your capacity to grow and make things happen in your life.
Within each of us we know and believe there are things that we are meant to do and be. We may not always know what those things are right away but when they show up you feel it with every fiber of your being. Things you might feel in this recognition are excitement, happiness, drive, and also fear (sometimes BIG fear). All of these feelings are indicators of manifestation. When you know what you want and you know what you are ready for, the work begins.
There can also be manifesting without the “aha moment.” This again takes work and is more decision focused. This is where intuition comes in and consciously making decisions that serve your goals and protect your desires.
No, you might not end up a millionaire or a rock star because you may not be meant for these things but you will move into peace, happiness, and authenticity. Coming to a point in your journey where you can fully trust yourself and your decisions to create what you are meant for is what true manifestation looks like. This power of observing a desire and bringing it to life is unmatched.
